Join the Board of Directors of the West Suburban YMCA and play a meaningful role in strengthening our community through health, youth development, and social responsibility. Board members provide strategic leadership and governance, including hiring and supporting the CEO, approving the annual budget, guiding fundraising efforts, and ensuring programs meet evolving community needs. Members serve as ambassadors for the organization, building relationships and advancing its mission. This role requires attendance at 8–10 board meetings per year (2 hour meetings), participation in committee work, and engagement in key events and fundraising initiatives. We are seeking community-minded professionals from diverse backgrounds who bring leadership experience, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for making a lasting local impact.
